Mata and Matua, the BMX racing brothers from New Zealand, are set to compete at the UCI BMX World Championships in Brisbane, Australia, in July 2026.
Mata, the number one world champion for his age group, will defend his title against top riders while also representing New Zealand in the 12 boys cruiser category. Matua, currently ranked NZ2 and third in Oceania, will support his brother as they compete internationally and wear the New Zealand jersey.
